Whytecliff is a mostly waterfront location located right beside Horseshoe Bay. Whytecliff is definitely one of the nicest parks all around in West Vancouver, being an excellent picnic spot it's a wonderful park to bring your entire family along, and don't forget the amazing views once you get to the water.
A great part about Whytecliff is the fact that it has a cafe! CoastLine Cafe is an excellent cafe! It is located in the center of Whytecliff which makes it easily accessible to anyone who is in the mood for some food! Their food is very affordable and is a quick and easy spot to head to whenever you want! Whytecliff also accompanies restrooms, making your stay much more pleasurable.
Whytecliff has direct access to the water from many locations, and along with this, Whytecliff has its own scuba diving site. The scuba diving in Whytecliff is great, sometimes the water will be murky, but despite that the water is often very clear for West Vancouver ocean waters.
If you want to experience some lovely views, and a wonderful sunset. You should head out to the Whytecliff lookout point, which is a location right on the water and is elevated around 50 feet up, giving you excellent views of the crossing ferries, boats heading to Sewell’s marina, and of course the beautiful sunsets!
However, if you are more the beach type of person, you can just take a quick one minute walk down from Whytecliff park to go to the beach! Whytecliff’s beach is very long and is quite big! It is definitely one of the main reasons people will come by in the summer!
Overall, Whytecliff is an excellent park, and it is truly beautiful, with many benches for picnics, lots of grass and space, and the wonderful waters that surround the park.
