Matt supports the community in various social activities and fundraising events. He has served on various community boards and public organizations as well as currently being the Staff Captain of Eagle Harbour Yacht Club in West Vancouver, being a member and President Elect of the Rotary Club of West Vancouver Sunrise, and being a member of the Vancouver Artillery Association and Royal United Services Institute Vancouver Society.
